Introduction of the Opera Studio – Concetto Armonico

Opera Studio – Concetto Armonico” is a training and specializing work-shop for music and theatre professionals created by Concetto Armonico cultural association with the patronage of Provincia di Venezia, Città di Cavarzere and “Circolo Amici del Maestro Tullio Serafin”.

The project’s aim is to complete each aspect of the singer professional training, from music and voice technique to stage presence, diction and study of an appropriate repertoire.

Opera Studio – Concetto Armonico” will take place in Tullio Serafin Theatre in Cavarzere (Venice) from May 30th to June 8th 2014 to give young singers the chance to interpret a role in a famous Opera which will be staged on 7th and 8th June in the same theatre.

Singers will be chosen through specific auditions for a double cast that will stage the opera so that a chance is given to a greater number of students.

Singers will study for 10 days with a singing teacher, a stage director, a pianist and an instrumental ensemble. They will have the chance to sing in one of the two performances in Tullio Serafin Theatre and possibly in more performances in other theatres and towns.

The title chosen for the first edition of “Opera Studio – Concetto Armonico” is “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” by G. Rossini.

The teachers of the first edition of Opera Studio – Concetto Armonico are: Bruno De Simone, Primo Antonio Petris and Fausto Di Benedetto.
