MASTERCLASS REGULATIONS
Art. 1 – Master class: dates and teacher
The cultural association Concetto Armonico organises the masterclass in opera singing held by soprano Barbara Frittoli from 12 to 15 June 2023. The masterclass will take place at Oratorio di San Nicola in Vicenza with teacher Barbara Frittoli and piano accompaniment by Fausto di Benedetto.
Art. 2 – Admission
Singers of any nationality who have a minimum of three years’ study of opera singing on their CV are eligible to participate. A maximum of 9 full students and a maximum of 15 auditors may participate in the masterclass.
Art. 3 – Registration
Applications must be received no later than 28 May 2024. Registration must be done by sending the documentation requested in this article. The email address for sending the documentation is: masterclass@concettoarmonico.it.
Required documentation:
- duly completed and signed registration form (downloadable from the website www.concettoarmonico.it and www.vicenzainlirica.it);
- short Curriculum Vitae of maximum 1500 characters (in .doc/.rtf/.pdf format);
- copy of identity document (in .pdf/.jpeg/.png format).
Applications received incomplete or without signature will not be considered. Before making the payment, please wait for the confirmation email from Concetto Armonico, for the availability of places. Following confirmation, singers may finalise their registration by paying the registration fee as indicated in the following article.
Art. 4 – Payment modalities
The attendance fee for the masterclass is € 350.00 (three hundred and fifty/00).
The attendance fee for auditors is € 70.00 (seventy/00).

NB: Please indicate the first and last name of the person registering. The fee will not be refunded in the event of cancellation by the participant without justified reason (presentation of a medical certificate).
Art. 5 – Frequency
The timetable for the masterclass and breaks will be agreed upon by the teacher together with the enrolled students. The convocation for 12 June is scheduled at 9.45 a.m. at Oratorio di San Nicola in Vicenza . Students will be required to attend at least 80% of the total lesson hours. If students do not attend 80% of the total hours, they will not receive a final certificate.
Art. 6 – Cancellation
The organisers reserve the right to cancel the masterclass should there not be a sufficient number of participants or should causes beyond their control prevent it from being held. In such cases, participants will be reimbursed the attendance fee if already paid.
Art. 7 – Final Concert
Successful students who are ready to perform in public (the teacher and artistic director will carefully assess the pupil’s level of preparation) will take part in the final concert on 15June at 9 p.m. at Oratorio di San Nicola in Vicenza. The students participating in the concert will not receive any remuneration or reimbursement of expenses for the performance. Students must ensure their presence at the concert, without exception. A certificate of participation will be presented to all students (auditors as well) at the conclusion of the final concert.
Art. 8 – Auditors
They will be required to attend 80% of the total hours to receive a certificate of attendance. They will be able to discreetly intervene in the masterclass by asking the teacher questions at the permitted times.
Art. 9 – Filming of images, audio and video
By registering, the participant in the masterclass gives his or her consent for filming and radio and television broadcasts, for image, sound and video recordings made as part of the lectures, rehearsals and the concert by the organiser itself or by persons or institutions commissioned to do so. In particular, the participant assigns to the organiser all rights to image, sound and video footage for any use in connection with the event. The organiser reserves the right to use images, sound and video recordings for promotion in connection with this event or future events, or to publish the sound and video recordings for demonstration and promotional purposes.
Art. 10 – Final Conclusions.
The organisers disclaim all liability for risks and damages of any kind to persons, property or anything else that may be caused to the students during the course of the lessons. Enrolment in the masterclass implies unconditional acceptance of these admission regulations.
